Which camera to buy with my range $250 to $400?

I am looking to purchase a camera for my wife soon. I have a price range of 0 to 0. My has the canon powershot sx10 is and the pictures are amazing! I wanted something different though. I was looking at:

Sony Cyber-shot DSC-H20
Nikon Coolpix P100
Panasonic Lumix DMC-LX3
PowerShot G10

I am not familiar with choosing a camera so I thank you for your help. I am going off reviews and ratings from cnet and other sites. IMO i feel the smaller seem cheaper and less capable even though they are the same price. But, that is my opinion. THank you for your help.

Danny

Nikon Coolpix P90 is a wonderful camera for beginners or more advanced photographers. It’s very easy to use on auto setting, and the 3" LCD screen is great for review. My favorite feature is the zoom, which makes picture taking so easy. My only complaint is that the rechargeable battery wasn’t fully charged, so remember to buy a spare or charge it at home. The camera has exceeded our expectations in every way. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it to anyone. It’s definitely worth the price for the zoom alone.

woah since that is your price range, you should buy one of those big black cameras the fancy ones.
those have extremely good high quality!

I took my Sony Cyber-shot DSC-H20 camera on vacation last week to Nashville for the CMA Music festival. I took pictures from a distance and the zoom was great! The video quality is amazing and in HD. When playing it back on the computer it looks like the singer was right in front of me when I was about 20 rows back. It was pretty simple to use, but just keep in mind the zoom button zooms very fast so touch it very gently to get a nice clear shot. I had to play around with that from time to time and sometimes the video started out blurry but then it readjusted itself. All in all, the lights flashing on stage did not effect the pictures. I am very happy with my purchase and how the pictures and videos turned out.
I also took some pictures of flowers close up and they came out so clear and crisp full of vibrant colors. I would highly recommend!

I really love my G10. It’s a little heavier than my canon A570IS which I love too. It has manual settings but auto takes great pics. I found a lot of great tutorials here http://www.google.com/search?q=youtube+G10+tutorials&hl=en&client=firefox-a&hs=t1M&rls=org.mozilla:en-US:official&tbs=vid:1&tbo=u&ei=0lCyS97sHoyQsgPYqoT6BA&sa=X&oi=video_result_group&ct=title&resnum=1&ved=0CBEQqwQwAA
I fits in my purse and has a neckstrap, the battery is long lasting.
