NEW Canon PowerShot SX20 IS Digital Camera Unboxing

This is just the unboxing of the new Canon PowerShot SX20 IS. I picked this up the other day at Best Buy when I saw it shot video in (720P) HD had 12.1 Mega Pixels. I believe this is replacing the Canon PowerShot SX10 IS that was only 10.0 Mega Pixels did not have the HD video feature. This is a cheaper alternative to the Canon PowerShot SX1 IS that shoots video in (1080P) FULL HD, has a CMOS sensor is 10.0 Mega Pixels. Thank you for watching Please Rate, Comment Subscribe

@ChelseaFR35H: wat type of SD are you using? Could it be that your SD is not fast enough to capture HD..? Don’t know.. just guessing.. Check it out.

Yeah I guess I can see that AA batteries are useful because of their abundancy, but the problem is for some reason I never have any around.

i think I know what you mean when you say blurry backround as in the effect of the background being a little blurry and the main subject being clear . that can be done a few ways with macro or using your zoom or getting close to the subject. the idea is to get close to the subject no matter how you do it either by zoom or physically

Hey, i’m thinking of getting this camera for my birthday this wednesday, i’m going to be 15 but i really really enjoy photography. Would you, a purchaser, recommend buying it? Does it focus well? Is the macro good? Is the lighting good? A few tips would be much appreciated :) Good video by the way!

@princessmaee Are you talking about when the subject is crisp but the background is out of focus? That is depth of field. If you shoot pictures in manual focus, you can get that. Not sure about manual focus on video. If you want a camera like that, get a DSLR, like the EOS series

i got this camera 2 days ago, i noticed that most of the photos i took are pretty soft though. do you know i can make them more crisper-looking ? (especially in macro) ?

@princessmaee i think she’s talking about aperture settings, so you can change the depth of field
