DIGITAL CAMERA Help? Which one should I get?

I currently have a PowerShot SD1100 IS and want an upgrade. I’ve learned a lot with this slim, ordinary camera, but now it’s just holding me back.
I would like to stick with Canon.
Should I get the Powershot G10, which is more expensive but supposedly has better reviews (on the Canon site, it has better reviews, but on the Best Buy site, it doesn’t)

Or should I go for the Powershot SX10, which is less expensive and has better reviews on the Best Buy site, but not as better on the Canon site?

I would like a great camera that will last me for more than a year, one that won’t hold me back.
